City leaders don't care about citizens
There was a letter to the editor in The Acorn:
City leaders don't care about citizens
It is worth reading,
but instead of losing interest in participating,
this is a good reason to get more involved and remember this lesson at each and
every of the next elections.
Get a group together and have some go to every Council meeting and speak out.
Tell others about what is going and and take back YOUR government.
These people are only on the City Council because people elected them.
They don't want term limits and they don't want to eliminate their full-time
benefits for a part-time job,
although they are willing to consider eliminating it for any new person who got
elected (it should apply to them at the next election as well).
You can make a different and toss the bums out!!!
